Immunotherapy Tips
There will be a mandatory 30 minute wait for every patient who receives an injection.
Please remember to take your antihistamine pill at least 1 hour prior to receiving your IT injection.
Notify office staff if you have any issues/delayed reactions to your previous injections.
On days you are receiving your injection, avoid extraneous activity/ exercise 2 hours Before and After your injection to prevent a delayed reaction.
If you are feeling sick
Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps..
Notify the office staff if you have started any new medications ESPECCIALY heart medications or Beta Blockers.
○ If you are on these types of medications Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps.
If you have asthma and it has become uncontrolled and you have used your inhaler within the last 24 hours.
○ Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps.
If you have become pregnant or suspect you have become pregnant
○ Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps.
